SKILLS: A Guide to Writing Books

1.   Read other stories as you write your own. You should not  copy their’s but it will help you with the flow of thought and style of writing.
2.   Do not talk about it, write something. Procrastination is a waste of time. What may start as a bad book may end up a good one.
3.   Start writing because you could fine turn it to become a good one.
4.   Write from your childhood experiences. Everyone has a childhood experiences, leverage on it.
5.   Write from your school days experiences. Everyone has a school experience used it to write a fiction.
6.   Write from books you read. If you can read at least seven fiction books, before writing your own.
7.   Write from the movies you watch. What you watch could remind of you of other life experiences that you will useful your imagination build a fiction.
8.   Write from experiences of others. Listen to experiences of others and used your imagination to build a fiction around it.
9.   Get somebody to tell you a story you can write about. Someone may know a story. A story I wrote about was something I heard from a restaurant while eating. You need to be conscious of the fact that you are a writer wherever you find yourself.
10.                   Someone can tell you a story and you can record it on your handset. Use this and other means to make you work easier.
11.                   What is your dream as a writer? You need to have a dream as a writer. How many books do you want to write? How long will it take you to write them? Do you want to sell on Amazon?
12.                   Have a quite place or use a library to write your stories.
13.                   You can use Corel Draw 13 grammar check under writing tools to spell check your English. There are other ones but for me this is the best. You can also hirer proofreaders on or offline.
14.                   You need to find out the flow of cash and profit in the business. A business is for profit, you need to constantly check this.
15.                   You need Check and see what others are doing by google search. Keep learning from others and self improvement.
16.                   Register as a venture or enterprise with government, have a bank account and a TIN.

Make sure children see the book when their parents are there, graduation, speech and prize giving day arrange with the school to give them commission, show them your prize list and negotiate commission with them. Christmas holidays can have Christmas stories. 2.      Teachers, Instructors and lecturers are the number one people that buy books for their children because they know books. They are easier to convince. 3.      Sell children books in boutique or sell women hair cream, make up and wears in a bookshop that has much of children books. 4.      Books are bought by people who know their importance and not necessary by the rich.
